Join women of all ages for a memorable event celebrating the spirit of women around the world.  The evening will commence with a lovely garden reception where you will have the opportunity to directly benefit women in Malawi, Africa.  After dinner, listen, watch and be inspired by internationally recognized photojournalist and storyteller Paola Gianturco, as she shares her highly acclaimed slide lecture: Women Who Light the Dark.  Gorgeous photographs will tell joyful and courageous stories of women who, despite all odds, changed their lives and communities for the better.

Join us.... and let these stories capture your imagination and empower you in your own life.

This is Paola’s fourth book documenting the lives of women around the world. She will be giving 100% of her author royalties for this book to The Global Fund for Women, which advocates for and defends women’s human rights by making grants to support women-run groups around the world. Her books will be made available for purchase by Kepler's Book Store before and after the event.

The Third Place

The Third Place is a place other than 1st, home or 2nd, work where people can go to meet and feel part of a community.

We offer families in the Silicon Valley an opportunity to come together for innovative workshops, presentations, and discussion groups. These non-sectarian programs are supported by Christ Episcopal Church and Ventana School and are open to the community.
